I was installing a remote start on a 2010 Edge SE, when I connected the parking light wire, it blew a fuse and the Headlights turned on and would not turn off until the 10 min time out. Seems that I shorted a component in the switch. $50 replacement at Auto Zone and lesson learned. FYI.

You can also ground out the trigger wires found behind the kick panels. Green purple for the drivers side and White on the passenger side.

both my doors had the problem, dealer wouldn't cover it. I tied both door trigger wires to ground (Green purple on the left and White for the passenger side). Problem is gone.
