I just bought a used edge titanium and my wifes car is having problems (probably jealous) she is selling her car to carmax. She really likes the edge and wants a brand new one. I spoke to my dealer in PA and I have 2 choices for leftover cars. 2017 V6 Edge SEL eq group 201a , cold weather package and technology package, panoramic vista roof and remote start, navigation(not sure if it is voice activated or not) heated leather seats, blis my wife did test drive and didn't ask important questions. Price is 33k+tax titles etc. (White gold/dune interior) 2nd car edge 2.0l titanium with panoramic vista roof, 301a package, tow package,remote start? Blis, cold weather package, navigation, heated back seats and this is for 35k+tqx titles. (Shadow black/ ebony) Which one would you buy? I am inclined on the SEL it has a V6 engine (wife does max 50m/h) maybe it will keep the value better because of this? What do you guys would buy if you were me? And also what do you think of the pricing? I will go tomorrow to pick up one. Thanks

I can pay for an unexpected problem. I atill have time to chose at least 2 years until factory warranty is over. I will wait and see if it is not problematic, I wont buy it. Thanks for all the posts.

Do you think it is wiser to keep cash around 1500 for future repairs? I know warranty is a gamble and house wins overall. I am just scared with all electronics in the car and something comes up for thousands. I havent used a car in the last 5 years and a lot has changed.

Hi all, I've just purchased a used 2017 Edge Titanium 2.0l fwd with sunroof, remote start and navigation. I bought it used for 25.500 usd with 14k miles on it. Still under warranty and I will post some photos soon. I would like to buy a ford extended warranty. I will be driving around 15k a year. I was looking for the Ford premiumcare but I couldn't find the exclusions and I am not a car guy, I don't have knowledge on what parts are likely to fsil prematurely etc. What would be your suggestions? I am based in Ardmore PA. For those of you living in the neighborhood, do you have a good mechanic or ford dealer that I can take it for maintenance and problems? Also if anybody knows any good detailing shop around Philadelphia/ardmore? A google search judt takes you to whoever pays more on advertisement and not to real results anymore. I am very excited about the car and hope to have a good experience with it. Cheers!
