All, I need some documentation or pictures on how to replace the ignition switch in my 2013 Edge. Have a problem with it not starting on extremely hot days and it’s a known issue that the plastic ignition switch (key in dash), behind the lock cylinder, needs to be replaced. I have the part, but cannot find instructions on how to change it out! If if anyone could help, it would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian

Sorry for the delay in replying. When the vehicle sits in the hot sun, temps close to 100F, I will get all my correct lights on the dash, stereo works fine, but when I go to turn it over, nothing....just nothing. No clicks, its not the starter. Open all the doors and pray for a breeze. After 15-30min it starts right up. This is the model with key start on the dash.

I am having the same issues. Does someone have the procedure for replacing the ignition switch? Thanks!
