Unit is OEM...now it is playing but very scratchy sounding.?????

Just installed Nav unit in my 08 and every thing works, but the 6 cd player. I have 4 cds in and I hear 'ticking' then it ejects the disc and gives me a bad disk error. Interesting when I tried my first cd, it played with poor sound quality with lots of fuzz sounds, then decided not to play all together now. Any suggestions? Thanks....Karl

All, New, happy Edge owner (bought a 2008 demo with 18K and rock chips on the front grille) and just bough an OEM replacement front grille and emblem. Can anyone assist me with instructions, schematics, etc. to help the job go smoothly? Thanks in advance. Karl
