How difficult was the thermostat install? I saw their video for installing one but it was for a Focus not an edge and you can see the video is sped way up. Was it a pain to reach and change out, any special tools?

I've read some on thermostats but saw there was some debate about them, which temp one to use and such. I assume you have one installed?

Interesting responses, over all it sounds like nobody is majorly concerned given you stick to a good maintenance schedule and don't cheap out on fluids, etc. I'm pretty good about hitting my oil changes on time and using synthetic only.

Just wanted to see what people were thinking about reliability and I guess life expectancy with running the LMS tune, more specifically the 93 aggressive? I've got a 2018 that I just started running the 91 aggressive tune on but I guess I'm a little apprehensive about jumping to 93. I'm afraid I'll like it too much and never switch back to anything lower and will the engine and tranny hold up to that extra power for 4-5 years? I don't drag race or beat on my vehicle daily, I mostly just kick it in the pants now and then after I'm already rolling. Do you guys running 93 aggressive just leave it on that map most of the time or just once in a while, at the track, etc.?

Questions for LMS people if you have time. I just got a 2018 and I'll be past my break-in pretty soon, was strongly considering a LMS tuner but wanted to clarify a couple of things. My understanding is you buy the tuner, "record" your engine params and upload back to LMS where they will create the maps you desire. Is that basically it? You don't need a bigger inter-cooler or anything unless you want one and or have other mods? Also, as 93 is kind of hard to find around here, are many of you running 91 and still seeing a decent gain?

Oh well, not the end of the world I just could have sworn I never heard a peep when it was on high earlier.

I just got a new 2018 Edge on Saturday and love it but one odd thing just started happening today. When I crank up the seat cooling to max you can really hear the fan whirring. I swear I had the seat cooling on high before today and never remember hearing anything. I don't know how it's related but the night before I did upgrade my Sync from 2.3 to 3.0. Anybody else have loud ventilated seats?

Interesting, the dealer with the 2017 has it listed for $41,589, but I have seen 2018's for about the same price, one even cheaper.

Is there any discernible difference between an 18 and 17? A dealer near me has a new 2017 that I'm sure has had a lot of test drives but I could probably get them to come down a fair amount on the price. Thanks for any info. Andy
