2016 Edge Lift Gate Not Locking

Thanks for this I will look into it. To be more clear, the liftgate door does not lock. Doors all lock, but not the lift gate. The liftgate will open and close remotely with the fob, but it doesn't lock. My car isn't secure. -
Fob and car batteries are new. How can I trouble shoot this, thanks!

What do they do? I am hoping that they help my seats to lay flat. Thanks.
