thanks, I figured I couldnt just take it apart. Just wanted to see if there was something I wasn't aware of. will try to fix it before buying on for sure. thanks for the replies.

new member here but have been lurking for a while. Thanks in advance. a ring of some kind has fallen down in front of the bulb. see picture please. can I even get to this after removing the assembly or am I destined to find another assembly? thanks
