  1. Thanks for all the help. It did end up being the high pressure pump. Also have to say this car has a ton of diagnostics. I forgot to save the before graph, but the actually pressure was running 200-400 and that was it. I think the car has more pep that before. Likely wasnt working at full capability and finally gave up.
  2. thanks for the link! Somehow missed it in my previous search.... Anyway, I pretty much ran out of talent on this guy and decided to let my local mechanic do it. They believe it is the High pressure pump and are going to replace it tomorrow. Hopefully that will get us back on the road. Will update with final resolution.
  3. Hey thanks for the reply Sonox801. I dont think so, we dont really have much E85 around here. I did wonder if it could be bad gas...maybe a little water? Trying to decide if I want to keep running it in this state and burn some fuel off or if that might be too much of a risk if it is something else.....
  4. Hey everyone! I'm a mid level techie guy who knows how to dabble (and be dangerous), but brand new to the Edge and EcoBoost. Got my son a 2012 a little over 2 months ago. 92,000 miles. It has been a fantastic car. Today all of a sudden in the middle of a drive, it lost power. The RPMS go high but it doesn't want to shift unless you release the pedal and it just doesn't get up and go. If I just hold the pedal down a little I can go from 0-60 in about a minute lol.... When I went to restart the car, it turned over for a pretty long time. Pulled the codes and got a P87 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - too Low. I pulled the advanced codes and looked at desired rail pressure vs actual rail pressure and they were way off. Low hundreds on current, over 1000 on desired. Not ever looking at this engine before I have no idea what is expected. There are no underboost codes or values and I looked at the waste gate percentage meter and it changing although again I dont know what is normal. What is kinda confusing to me is I get a pretty high RPM but no power..... would a clogged fuel system or bad fuel pump give this result? Any suggestions on where to look next would be appreciated!
