Picked up a new 18 Edge 2 weeks ago. Noticed after a few days our driver side tail lamp was really loose/wobbly at the part of the housing closer to the front of the car and the fit around the curved quarter panel was super tight and rubbing and had chipped some paint from the sloppy install at the factory. Took it to the dealer and after sending photos to Ford they agreed to replace the lamp assembly. It goes in tomorrow. Hoping it fits better than the one we originally got. Not worried about the pain chip as I can touch it up myself and its in an inconspicuous location but dont want the tail lamp to continue rubbing paint off as the moths/years go by. Anyone else seen this? Hopeful, it is just an out of spec lamp housing. Kind of a bummer on a brand new $38k truck...we love everything else about it!
