  1. Please post some after pictures once you install them....
  2. Then I guess the other 6 people that did the same test on there own vehicles at my track using there own equipment must be flawed as well...... We can agree to disagree, but I've seen it with my own 2 eyes, I've raced my Challenger on the track countless amount of times with minimal improved brake fade compared to not having them. That's more than good enough for me.
  3. Well I can tell you from personal experience.... Proven!! I installed a set of these on my 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack, installed one on the front and one one the rear did 6 laps at my local track then checked and compared to the other side with a digital temperature reader, found a drop of 32 degrees on the front and 19 degrees at the rear. Yes I checked directly on the caliper itself and not on the cover. I will agree that it will fluctuate from one vehicle to another, but again to the research I did and talking to other people that use them at my track we all came to the same conclusion. I'm not here to argue or recirculate bad information as you so elegantly put it, I'm simply sharing my own experience and others I associate with on a daily basis. Thanks for the basic physics class............
  4. 1- would it be cheaper, yes. But unless you do a perfect job painting them (meaning the prep most of all) the paint will flake off in time. 2- It's been proven that caliper covers (aluminum not plastic), help dissipate the heat. 3- easy on, easy off. If you get tired of them for what ever reason you can take them off and go back to the factory look
  5. I am pretty technical, Like I said I myself owned a 2017 MKZ with the 3.0 twin turbo. I'm very familiar with the quickness of the car, Traction and brake torque all off, was running 93 octane. I am going by butt in seat dyno comparing it to my 2011 MKS twin turbo with the 3.5L. Again I would assume the tune I was sent wasn't completed, that's the only explanation I can come up with on why I was so disappointed.
  6. I'm just telling my experience, I know what I feel and don't feel. As for the fastest MKZ tuned by Livernois, that's very disappointing to hear, when I installed there tune I hardly felt a difference In power, almost makes me feel the tune they sent me wasn't anywhere near complete and they forgot to send me updated tunes
  7. No mods, everything else is stock
  8. It's going very well, we're up to 22 updates and every time Torrie sends me a new one I can feel the difference from the last. I'm still using the stock IC, peak boost I've seen is 18.3, can't remember what stock was.
  9. he did tweak the trans at first, he's been more concentrating on getting the most out of the motor for now, once that's dialed in if I'm understanding him correctly he'll dial the trans in after. sorry to hear about your Livernois tune, I tried them with my Lincoln MKZ with the 3.0L turbo and I wasn't that impressed with the tune. All the reason I went back to Torrie, he did my old 2011 MKS and again night and day difference.
  10. Bought a tuner from Unleashed Tuning, Been doing some data logs with Torrie (the owner), for the last couple of weeks and it's like a night and day difference. Super impressed with the results and we're not finished yet. If you're on the fence about doing it trust me, it's well worth it...
  11. here's a pic of when I picked it up... ?
  12. Hi all, My name is Marty, I'm from Vancouver B.C Canada. I just took delivery of my factory order 2019 Edge ST in white Platinum. We are more of a Ford family as my other vehicle is a 2017 F-450 Platinum and my wife has a 2017 Explorer Limited. Already went with my first mod and ordered up a tuner from unleashed Tuning, according to Torrie, I should roughly see an increase of 40hp's and 60ft-lb at the wheels.
