Yep, I have an 08 Edge Ltd and I get the same annoying vibration at idle. If Ford ever wants to be considered as good as the Japanese then things like this need to be dealt with.

FWD, in Ontario. Been driving long before there was all wheel drive, heck long before there was front wheel drive. Didn't have a lot of of problems with rear wheel cars, so I don't think the FWD almost 5000 lb Edge will present a problem.

I had a 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring model, fully loaded, I took the Edge Limited out on a test drive on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. the Edge is much more quieter than the Honda, ride was very nice, leather quality was better, larger sun roof, nice and wide, lots of room in the back seat, and was easier to park. I'm just not a van guy, the Honda had a lot of issues and most were not fixed the first time and some not fixed at all (windshield still had wind noise after three attempts at fixing), gas mileage in the city was terrible, mind you the Edge isn't great either. Love the style of the Edge, I also have a 02 Mustang GT and now maybe the turn signal won't be as annoying to me, Ford has theirs a little higher than others. I only have 1500 km on the Edge but, love the style the room in the back, the ease of folding the back seats, and there is quite a bit of room once you fold the seats. Hopefully it will not require a lot of repairs and will be trouble free, but my last two vehicles were Japanese and they were in the shop for repairs, the Nissan Maxima, had tons of work done and boy was I glad I took the extended warranty. I had over $7000 of work done on the extended warranty, and then there are the warranty maintenance visits, Nissan was outrageous, between $300 and $600 a visit other than the oil change visit, Honda $100 for oil change and tire rotation, A1 service reminder. I prepaid my Edge maintenance for 3 years and it was $899, everything covered including brake pad, wipers and light bulbs, how can you beat that. So far so good, comfortable and enjoy driving it.

I just hit 1000 km, or 610 miles, fuel pump already???

Is anyone else getting a high pitch sound when the engine is running?, I only hear it when I am outside the CUV, not while I am inside.
