At less than 61,000 miles my 2016 Edge started making a very load rattling noise when idling. The next day I took it to the Ford dealership. 6 days later they said it was a cracked flywheel caused by an issue with the torque converter.
Now here is where it gets Interesting, after says it would cost 2800.00 to fix, I find out the parts that will replace in my car are the same part numbers for the 2017 recalls on the Edge, yet Ford will not cover my parts as a recall because it's a 2016 but has to use 2017 parts.. how is that even fair? Anyone else have issues on this as well?
