Codes have been checked with no issue showing. Plugs have not been changed, but when driving with overdrive locked out there is no problem with shifting. Also it is much worse when wet out.

My 2008 Ford Edge has issues with the overdrive portion of trans. Trans world perfectly in the first 4 gears, no hunting or jerking. Under normal operation the overdrives kick in and out when going up a slight grade and while cruising at, lets say 50 mph, and you step on the gas the overdrives also kick in and out. It appears to be worse when in is raining or very damp atmosphere. Driving without overdrive there is absolutely no hesitation between gears. Does anyone have this problem and know what the fix may be? Thanks in advance David

The compass stopped working some time ago and then a little later the garage door opener stopped working. I know how to program Homelink, and have retried numerous times. As to the compass I have gone through the the paces, or should I say the circle routine, to no avail. to my knowledge no fuse are blown, at least the ones I could find. Anyone have any input on this subject?? Thanks DEC
