Ok glad I'm not the only one. Mine is a rather high pitch sound, does sound like its coming from the rear - fuel pump would make sense. It a very constant sound, almost like a wirrrr from a jet engine. Mine is an 08 Edge.

Thanks that confirms I'm not totally going crazy. I'll swing by the dealer and have them check it out. Update: Well as I was waiting for an appointment to arrive at their office I was playing around with the Menu - the Autoset was set to On. I set it to Off and then the Preset save function worked fine.

Hey folks I could use some advice. I bought a 2008 Ford Edge SEL program car with about 8,000 miles - love it so far. I just have one problem, with setting the preset radio station buttons. I've read the owners manual 3 times to see if I am missing something, seems about as easy as can be. Tune in the station, and press and hold the preset button until the music is heard and release. I do that, but it keeps going back to the station that was previously programming. Am I missing something or do I have a problem here? Many thanks, Steve
