Thought I would add a post to the reliabilty column..... Took delivery in May. As of Nov 2, I have 25,000 kms. This is a great vehicle and I am very peased.... First problem was this week, I noticed a wheel noise in the rear that seems to be getting worse. Dealer says it's a wheel bearing, but they don't have parts at the depot. Should be fixed next week, but I am still driving..... SEL AWD version.

I chose my Edge because of the good looks, complete option package and availability of AWD. I was a long time GM guy and most recently two-time Chev Trailblazer driver (2002, 2004) and wanted something different. The Edge is good on gas, rides and handles excellent. I took delivery of a new SEL AWD in May and have 24,000 km's so far. Like others, I initially didn't like the headrests, but don't notice anymore. Overall a great vehicle. Well done Ford!

"Poof" I'm back. Just busy driving my Edge. Got it on the 4th. Almost a month old and have almost 4K on the odometer.

Don't intend to sound silly, but why do you want to remove the headrests ?

Mileage seems to get better with time. I am getting 13 litres/100km after 1000 kms on the odometer (mostly highway). I think this is about 18 mpg. Still not as good as my previous 4.2litre Trailblazer, but it should improve.

Laytoncorp.. I can't answer your sirius question, but want to ask about your mobile-ease. Did you install this your self ? Is this an easy DIY project? The bluetooth seems like a great idea.

Yes, the roof rails are optional (about $ 100. extra). Mine is ordered without rails and without BAMR.

Mine is a Light sage with stone interior. VIN was March 15th, 5 days before yours I guess. This puts me around April 17th, which fits my dealers promise for May 1st. Too bad these can't be ordered and tracked like my last Dell.....

Hi Edgy girl. Did your dealer tell you 4 weeks ? Mine said 6, but I wonder if this is true. I ordered SEL with Nav. I don't know who can track for us, maybe ypur brother can get some help at the plant ?
