So I hit a pole at 8 mph or so, not enough for the airbags to trip but enough to destroy the radiator support. It also smashed the fans, radiator, trans cooler, AC condenser and broke the lights a little. I replaced..
-radiator and fans
-ac condenser
-new trans cooler
-new radiator support
-new bumper and crossmember.
While I had the whole dang thing apart I read about the sensors in the tranny going bad. While it was easy I did that job too! And finally the spark plugs. Got it all back together today and everything fit great! Got all the fluids back in. Jumped in the car and nothing. All the dash lights came on, fuel pump ran for a few secs, head lights, radio etc.. all worked, Then the engine light blinked 8 times. I checked all the connections and went over everything. Cleaned grounds and charged the battery. And the security light is off. I’m pretty stumped.
