Standing outside the garage the other day, I noticed the reverse lights were really dim on my wife’s 2016 edge sel. I took everything apart and was trying to get some readings on the meter but I really wasn’t sure what the readings should’ve been. Anyone have the numbers I should be looking for? I really don’t want to spend $1000 for that whole plastic piece with the reverse lights built into it. The thing only has 22,000miles.

I did forget to mention I have the 7pin mounted to the hitch and I use a 4pin adapter. Hopefully you get that to work! Maybe even worse case scenario, you put in an auxiliary switch so that way you only use it when needed.

Do you have a trailering harness? I tapped into the reverse lights on the trailering Harness on my 2011 Chevy traverse as I just use the 4 wire for my trailer. Nothing extra required.
