Thanks for info - that is just the real world info I need

My AWD edge has OEM 20” clads . 8x20 - 245/50/20 - 114.3 40+ I want to put 18s on it - not many FLEX or EDGE rims avail used , but plenty of explorer and mustang rims . The rims have same lug, width, bolt pattern and hub size but offset is 44 not 40 . Anyone done this ( prefer not to use spacers if possible )
