I have a problem with the drivers side front door won't open any of the windows.

The passenger front door can open/close the window.

Additionally the power sunroof is not working either.

I read about the pin issue within the front drivers door/chassis connector and there does seem to be an issue for when i push on the wires the passenger window control will intermittently work.

I found these schematics for the power windows and sunroof.

Can you think of a scenario where the front drivers side door connect could be effecting the sunroof?

Thanks for any help in advance!

    Hey there,

I am currently dealing with this same issue, among other electrical problems, on my 2013 SEL with just a smidge over 100,000 km's. Were you ever able to find any sort of concrete answers on this? I've found that so many folks out there and just for the sake of making a youtube video have come up with random ideas. Mind you, some are much more sensible then others, but it's hard to get a grasp on what will actually work.

In addition to the power windows issue, which is now becoming a bit of problem now that the temperature is warming up here in northern Ontario, Canada I'm also dealing with the door ajar issue. This one is quite odd though, because as soon as the fall came with the cool weather last season, I rarely if ever had a door ajar issue. The minute we had a warm stretch, it's not but door ajar issues..

So I'm really just curious as to the direction folks who have recently encountered these electrical issues have gone with it.. I wish I had some advice/pointers to give, but unfortunately, I'm just now looking into the issue.

    All the best and cheers!

  2. Camshaft Positioning Sensor. I'll bet my last dollar on it. I had a Nissan Altima once upon a time. When any electrical component started to go or was changed with a non OEM part (specifically sensors), this would throw the entire car out of whack.

The cam shaft sensors specifically, were among the worst to diagnose. I went about 10 months at one point where to the car would go into a fail safe mode, throwing no codes but traction control and wouldnt move. There was no take off to it at all.

Lesson Learned for me; don't cheap out on electrical components.
