Mine didn't actually have any clips on it. As I was prying it away from the seat to see if I could see what was holding it on it just came off. It looked as if it may have been designed to have a clip on it like the 'C' clip type of thing on window winders (remember those?) or door handles though. HTH phil n

Here's my update. I was trying to pry back the handle so I could get a picture of in behind it and it just came off. There was no clip on it. It looks like there may be provisions for a window winder type clip - maybe there had been one but had been removed by a previous owner. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, yeah I saw that in the first part of the instructions after reading it again. I can sort of see in behind the lever and it does kind of look like that.

I have another question. The instructions say: It just pulls off? No clips or other restraining devices? TIA Phil N

Hi all. Just signed up to ask a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to anywhere. The driver's side 6 way power seat in our '07 will not move forward anymore and I think it might be the switch. It looks as if the panel on the side of the seat needs to be removed to remove the switch but I think the lumbar support handle/lever needs to be remove in order to remove the side panel. Can anyone tell me how to remove that lever (and the side panel)? Thanks Phil N
