Not sure what pearl white looked like but this one has has a metallic effect when up close. Body shops not impressed as the cost for paint is way up there. Was always in the reds and metallic greys before.

Just purchased a new 2020 Edge Titanium with the elite pkg in Star white. Very impressed so far. Getting the 3M protection on the front, hood, window pillars and mirrors as of today. Had 3 escapes over the years as second cars so this will be a big change.
