  1. Scanned the car and there are 3 Codes for the ABS module: u0401:68-60 c0030:07-60 c0034:01-28
  2. Thank you Haz and enigma-2. I didn't do a scan but I will now, since you were so kind to provide the DTC's. Also, enigma-2, I didn't know about the tone rings issues until last night and until I had replaced the speed sensors. This car is sooo rusty, I suspect there might be a cracked ring. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate way to respond to the posts, but Thank you for your time!
  3. 2011 Edge limited, when turning to the left and breaking moderately, the ABS kicks in. I have replaced all 4 speed sensors with no change to the problem. Thanks in advance!
  4. Did you get anywhere with this problem? I am experiencing the same issue with my car. The horn works fine if testing on the bench, and works fine by pressing the horn button on the steering wheel but sounds weak when using the remote lock. I have also checked for the voltage at the plug in the bumper and it was 11.83v with pressing the horn on the steering wheel.
  5. 2011 Edge is snappy on acceleration but it makes a noise that resembles the rattling/pinging noise of an old VW Bug diesel. It only occurs during hard acceleration. I sounds like it is coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment.
  6. Thanks for the info. I have searched the part number on google and YouTube and even though the parts numbers are the same, there is a difference in what came out of the box. The bi directional transmitter only has a cable that is about 5 feet long and there is no way to get it to the optimal spot in the windshield. What doesn't make sense is the info I do find that was posted in this post, show's the modules installed in the cargo panel but the bi directional antenna installed in the windshield, I would need 12' of cable to achieve that. Looking for the best placement for the antenna, we purchased this unit because of its long range, so want to get the antenna in the optimal spot.
  7. ScratchMan, was your remote start system the bi-directional? I am currently trying to install the OEM bi-directional unit, in the rear drivers cargo panel. This system has 2 antennas, one that is attached behind the trim panel and is shaped like a "T" when the wire is connected, the other antenna is shaped like a large Grey key with a 5' or 6' long ribbon wire attached. Since there are not any instructions in the kit, I have deducted that the key shaped part goes in a window. What was your system like? I am also going to purchase the OBDlink, was the software free?
