  1. It's my bad for believing the online sites that show a particular bulb as an appropriate replacement without examining the vehicle. I also saw a number of YouTube videos that purport (incorrectly) to show changing bulbs in a 2017. Lesson learned. 17Sport, that's not a bad idea but I'm not sure if I want to muck around with that. I'll keep looking though; I'm just really surprised to not see others complain about it. The bulbs themselves work and are pretty bright when you're standing and looking at them, but they seem to be in a lousy position to actually light up the surface/area that you're driving on.
  2. Not the answer I was hoping to see... the lights are just awful to see when in reverse.
  3. Hello All! Just bought a CPO 2017 Edge SEL about a month ago, and really enjoying the vehicle. One small gripe that I would like to resolve is this: The backup lights are terrible on this thing. I can't see a thing backing up, and the camera is not always helpful in bad weather. I'd like to upgrade the bulbs - I did this on my 2013 F150 in about 15 minutes and it made a huge difference. On the Edge, they are on the light bar on the tailgate under the rear window. An online search of images / YouTube videos shows the easy change on a 2016... which is obviously not right for this model and is therefore not helpful. Can anyone point me to a video / tutorial / instructions on how to get into this thing to see if I can upgrade the bulbs? Thanks, Rod
