    Thanks Todd and Haz. I think I'll just skip the whole idea. I don't live in an area that gets the snow storms like some others.

    From Tire Rack, Tire chains should be installed on the drive wheels of the vehicle following the chain manufacturer's instructions, To retain as much of the normal handling characteristics of 4WD/AWD vehicles as possible, tire chains should be installed on all four tires, requiring the purchase of two pairs of tire chains.

    Clearance might be an issue with the fronts.

    Hmmm, If the AWD already differentiates where to apply the "drive", Wouldn't it continue to function as it normally does?
