You basically just remove the recirculating house and plug the intake with a 1" chair foot.

First off thanks for the photos. But I was wondering are you supposed to plug both sides? My thinking is if you plug the intake and not the BOV side then the air is going to completely bypass the BOV and take the path of least resistance straight out the hole.

This is a mock-up with the new base mold in place and the lid just resting on it. I needed to see if the hood would close with the aux air hose installed because it sits a little higher than the other/ first base.  The aux air hose is just resting there and not going anywhere. Also needed to check if there was any interference anyplace else .  After checking the new bottom half mold and finding no problems with interference, progress can continue.

Maybe I'm just a bit of a noob but I can't figure out what the aux air hose is gonna be used for. Can you elaborate? Either way that looks mint with the metal pipe. Even with the painters tape!

Which BOV do you have because that sounds incredible. This is obviously a pretty old thread but I'm curious because I recently installed a turbosmart dual port on my 2015 sport and i would say it is even more quiet than the stock one.
