We bought this 2011 Edge used with 180,000 miles on it. Less than 400 miles later, the advancetrac warning came on a few minutes after the drive train seemed to begin to seize up. Car was running and driving well and then upon a short climb on a steep entrance ramp, it would not accelerate. I was merging into traffic when this happened. I got to 35mph with rpms over 4,000. It would not accelerate further. Drove at 35mpg, 4000 rpm for about 1.5 miles and pulled over. Car would not budge afterward in any gear.
