Hi all, this may have been covered but I could not find a quick answer using the search option. I just got a 2017 Edge with the 4 pin flat light connector. While my trailer is small (1300 Trillium) I don't need a brake controller but would like to charge my trailer battery while driving. Is there a simple way using existing wiring or should I get a 7 pin connector and run a separate line from the battery? Thanks!
