I have a 2015 Edge Sport with Eco Boost/Twin Turbo motor and started experience low RPM (~400-500 RPM) when idling in park and while in drive at a stop. The check engine light illuminated and I had the code checked. It was a P0506 code. I am now ~$1,000.00 into fixing this and after having the throttle body and motor assembly replaced am still experiencing the symptoms and the code is back. I am not sure if this motor has an idle air control valve. One of the auto repair shops I took it to suggested I take it to a Ford dealer (which I did and who said the throttle body needed to be replaced) but suggested that the catalytic converter may be clogged or the turbo charger may be bad.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so do you have any advice?
