I am so out of my depth mechanically, I went ahead with their deal... originally the estimate for the module work was $2k... with the Ford parts needed. I don't think there was any problems other than from the main control module area.

When I googled the part there are many sources selling the part...?

My 2014 Edge was rated on Edmunds or Kelly as most reliable year. Now my 65k mileage Edge is at dealership for over a month with no ABS module part... which seems to be a dead end situation. They have said they are looking into 3rd party sources but no results. I've seen suggestions that it can be driven without ABS...? What to do? Wait it out, buy another car, sell as is, trade... I'm stuck Edit: just got this from dealer: I'll give it a try. abs control dt4z2c219b is the part number , we did find a place that will rebuild , but we must send it in first before we can have a price they only cover 1 year warranty on part only it's a 3-4 week turn around please let me know if we can do this . thanks
