I have the same problem (wanting a nice big trailer with all the features to be pulled by my Edge) however that said there are a couple of hybrid travel trailers that just fit under the 3500lbs: * Kodiak Expandable 160 - 2862 lbs *Starcraft Sport Expandable 175RK - 3500lbs You will not find many travel trailers hybrid or normal over 17 feet long that will be under the towing capacity.

Just did 1000km this weekend and no smell at any time. Will continue to monitor...

Let me know what you come up with because I just bought a 2009 AWD SEL and it didn't come with SYNC but would like to get it. Could my dealer upgrade it ?

I just bought a 2009 AWD SEL and occasionally have a burning smell but it only seems to occur when idling for a long while. Since I just brought it home 2 days ago it might actually be the residual cleaning fluid. I will monitor it and post an update if it continues or goes away.
