New to Forum not sure where to post.

2010 Ford Edge has been cutting out randomly only when raining it seemed. I kept an eye on it last rain storm and could see water dripping into the rear driver side and down a string of wires which connected to the fuel pump relay.  Would this cause the vehicle to die randomly and then start back up 10 minutes later? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated
