When i went on a 200km drive my MKX started give me problems. first off, after about 200kms the "wrench" symbol popped up on the screen and then my RPM gauge would go from around 3,000rpm to 6,000rpm then back down again. While it was doing this the car was jerking as well. I could still drive the car but it was jerking the whole way home. When i reached home, i turned off the car. Then turned it back on and had no problems. Now if i try to take this back to the dealership they wouldn't do anything because i cannot prove there is anything wrong. Anyone else have a similar problem? or any idea's? thanks in advance!

Hey guys! im new here. I bought a Brand new 08' MKX and after 20,000km's and regular servicing im having problems! When i drive out on the highway approx 100km/h I hear this loud Thumping noise coming from (what sounds to be) my center console. The noise keeps on thumping even when i slow down. I took to to Ford and they drove it around and never heard this noise! The thumping only happens sometimes but when it does it really loud and it sounds like it needs attention right away. Has anyone had this problem? or knows what it is? thanks!
