1. Apple CarPlay connection is unreliable. Sometimes it resolves by disconnecting the bluetooth and reconnecting via Ford’s touchscreen, and sometimes I have to reboot the phone entirely. A wired connection doesn’t even resolve the issue.

2. The heated seat controls on the touchscreen are sliders for some reason. It’s so obvious that these should be single-press controls for Low, Medium, & High settings, but Ford forces you to look away from the road for an extended period of time to actuate the sliders up and down. Terrible feature.

I recently acquired a 2022 Ford Edge SEL as a company vehicle, and I’m tracking fuel economy/mileage on Fuelly for anybody that’s interested. See link in signature.

So far, only 5 people are tracking their 2022 models. Hoping to see more activity from new owners.

The wireless charging pad in my 2022 SEL is about worthless. I have an iPhone XR and an iPhone 12 mini, but neither stays in position for reliable charging.

Has anybody come up with a solution for this? I wish there was a MagSafe tray that could be used to keep the newer phones in position.

Hello all. New Edge owner here (2022 SEL).

I'm wondering if anybody has a photo of the area behind this blue trim panel.

I'd like to drill a screw into the area of the red box, and I'd like to make sure that there isn't anything important back there.
