  1. Does anyone happen to know what the part number or name is for the thingy that the headlamp bolts into? It looks adjustable nut of some kind about an inch tall that connects the headlamp to the radiator support. I've been searching under every name I can think of and got bupkis Thanks, Troy p.s. 2018 Ford Edge btw...
  2. I think I can see where it connected to the latch, but it's definitely no longer there Thanks for the part information! I'll pick up a new latch and wiring harness and hopefully I can stop getting that hood ajar message!! Cheers, Troy
  3. Parts ordered and fingers crossed thanks a ton!!
  4. Interesting!! I do get a park aid alert when I back up, but I figured that was something on the back end that was missing and not the front end. I don't think those options came on this particular model, but maybe they just disconnected that wiring harness and threw it away when the vehicle was in the wreck... It's always interesting to try and figure out the story based on clues found in a salvage situation. Thanks, Troy
  5. Once again thank you Haz!! I don't have that connector on my hood latch... must have broken off during the accident I guess?? Thank you for the info! Looks like I'm missing a wiring harness... now to figure out where it connects back into! Thanks, Troy
  6. Thanks Haz!! Those manual images are fantastic... I can't find that info in the haynes manual at all So that entire cable is just missing from that location on my vehicle... The front shutter that the AAT mounts on was trashed and I replaced the entire thing, but never saw that cable anywhere. I'm going to have to see if I can get a copy of whatever manual you are pulling those pdfs from as that is super detailed. The cable must be somewhere though as it does eventually register an external temp. Thanks, Troy
  7. Thanks for the info!! That diagram is super helpful! I was thinking park assist, and I'm still thinking it might be, but I can't find the corresponding cable on the vehicle... maybe just not used on the SEL model? Additional pics attached if that helps.
  8. I've been rebuilding my salvage 2018 Ford Edge, and the front grille was damaged. I replaced it with a nice looking "raptor" style Ford grille, but on the inside of the bumper on the driver's side there are 5 connectors, but I can't only find cables for four of them. See picture to see which one I can't find a cable to plug into. Thanks, Troy
  9. I can't believe I can't find this, but I've been looking online and all over my salvage 2018 Ford Edge for hours and I can't find where the hood latch sensor would be... It doesn't appear to be part of the latch itself, and I can't find a sensor that would trigger the hood being open or not. Any help and especially a picture of where the hood sensor is located would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Troy
  10. Hi all! I've been searching for hours online and looking all over my salvage 2018 Ford Edge (2.0 EcoBoost), and I can't for the life of me find the AAT sensor. When I start the car it shows -40 for outside temp, but after driving for about 5 minutes is starts showing the correct temperature. Not a huge deal, but it's starting to get hot out and the AC won't work until the outside temp starts registering correctly. So, I pull the front bumper off and I'm following every connector I can find and I don't see the sensor anywhere. It's got to be there or else it would never register, but I have the haynes manual, and the Internet and I can't find it anywhere. I know what the sensor looks like... and it should be somewhere between the grille and the radiator I would think, but I'm stumped... it's a $6 fix that I've spent hours trying to run down If anyone could send me a picture of it's location I'd be forever grateful! https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/electrical/sensorsdevices/sensor-assy-7821147-1#/partMatched
