Hi everyone I’m new here. I decided to join today because I am having a problem with my 2013 Edge (which is very rare) that I’ve had since it was new.
Yesterday the car was working fine without any issues and today I go to get in the car and it won’t start. All I hear is one single click. I also noticed that the CEL starts blinking about 5 times then turns solid after I try to start it. I’ve never had this issue before and I’ve looked online but haven’t came across anything Edge specific. Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue?
I don’t have a scan tool to see what the code or codes is/are. I just replaced the battery a few weeks ago and checked to make sure that all of the connections are tight, which they are. I’m just looking to see if anyone has experienced something similar and might have a suggestion or two.
