I have only had it for 9k miles (it has 39k on it now), but I changed it once recently. Whoever had it before must have for it too, as the fluid looked pretty good.
So does it measure places besides the PTU?

Sorry! It’s a 2016 SEL AWD with the 3.5

Have had two different occasions now where the “AWD disabled” message comes on the screen - goes off after a bit more driving, but if I am reading right, something is overheating. Anyone know what that might be?

I have a 2016 AWD SEL, and will be towing and want to monitor my transmission temp. I don’t want to hook a pc up to it for long term drives, and was wondering if there is a good way to do that via the obd port, adapter and an app for my iPhone? (Or what is best way?)
secondly, I changed out the tranny fluid, and stupidly did not measure the drained fluid. I am having trouble seeing how much fluid is on the stick. I don’t want to overfill it, but any suggestions on reading that thing? The fluid seems so clear I can’t tell where it stops (or possibly it’s so low there is none on it, but I did put about 6 quarts back in, which seems to be more than most get on a drain and fill?)
thanks for any help!

Mine does not - thanks for the info!

I have a 2016 edge sel, and it has power mirrors, but does not tilt them down when I put it in reverse. If I get the forscan stuff and turn that option on, will it work, or do I also need different hardware?

I have seen quite a few posts asking similar questions to this, but no answers, so here goes….
I have a 2016 SEL with the 6-speaker setup (sync 3). I would like to get some more bass, but want to keep the look stock.
EBay has several of the oem subs for sale, but I can’t tell what would be involved (or if it’s possible) to put one in mine?
is the amp included in or with that sub box?
would I need to get a new plastic fender so the sub grille shows, or does it replace the little storage box or something?
chances on the factory harness already being there?
do I need to tell the system the sub is there somehow?
thanks again - I appreciate any info / pointers / advice!

Thank you, @Haz- I appreciate it very much!

thanks, all - is there a place to tap for:
1) the switched power for the relay (so it activates when I have the ignition on)
2) the 40A power (other than the battery terminal - I know I can do that, but would prefer to keep it cleaner looking)
Thank you!

I have a 2016 sel, and need to run a line to charge the battery on my camper when I tow it. I would like it to be hot only when the vehicle is running so I don’t drain my battery. Is there a location in the fuse box in the engine compartment that would be good to tap into for this? I know I can run to the battery directly, but I want something that is only hot when the car is running.

I need to mount a 7 pin round plug for my popup (that has brakes). Has anyone else done this, and is there a recommended mounting location? I have the factory towing package, and was thinking of attaching it to the factory mount for the 4-flat plug (see picture), but if there is a different/better location, I am totally open to that also!
AWD disabled - what exactly is overheating - transmission temp monitoring ?

No need to quote EVERYTHING
@Haz - as always, you da man with providing helpful info - I appreciate it!
This is super-useful for how to do it, and how much I should expect to replace - my main issue now though is that I can't physically tell on the dipstick where the fluid is (the new stuff is so clear) - any tips/tricks on that?
