I’m having the same/very similar problem with a 2014 Edge SEL. I posred it here two days ago, and am waking/hoping for some insight.

Hello, Just today, the drivers seat starts “rocking”. I? E., back under acceleration, and forward under breaking. It fells as if iether the front mounting bolts are loose, or there maybe a problem with the gear/screw drive (jumped or worn). When I use the switch to try to raise/lower the front of the seat bottom, the motor hums, but there is no vertical movement. The power seat otherwise functions as it should. Any suggestions?
