    Problem solved. Boot had a small tear and water was inside. Freezing so it wouldn't turn but also had quite a bit of rust inside . The last day or so they were getting rough spots as you turned the wheel. Thanks!

    My wife washes the car weekly at an automatic car wash. It does wash the underside. I'm wondering if water is getting inside the boot and freezing up?

    The steering wheel will not turn sometimes in cold weather below 32. Feels like the steering wheel is locked but seems when it warms up it is fine. Wondering if anyone has run into it 2018 Ford Edge FWD 3.5 Thanks!
