No ideas yet? my regular Bluetooth streaming function came back yesterday. Still wondering if anybody else has similar issues ever or thoughts on what would cause something like that?

I have a 2014 edge sel with the 4” non touch sync radio. I’ve always used Bluetooth with no issues. But lately they’ve been getting worse. Last month or so when I start my car up it’s sort of garbled for about the first 5 seconds, like it got behind and is skipping ahead too fast to catch up or something weird. But Bluetooth has always worked fine otherwise. You listen to your streaming and when a call comes it automatically switches to phone mode. Presto easy. BUT NOW…. when I connect to my car, the audio streaming works as usual but when I go to use phone mode it says “Bluetooth phone disconnected.” But it’s literally connected to Bluetooth right now streaming audio so i don’t understand what’s the issue. I’ve reset sync in the advance settings menu. I’ve deleted and reset my Bluetooth and network connections on phone. Any other ideas????? So weird!

Thanks that looks like just what I need for the back up camera!

My Edge has the 4” screen. Can I do this upgrade to the 8” Sync 3 system? I understand it might not be as plug n play and I may have to reprogram the apim or something but I’m interested and willing.

I have a 2014 Ford Edge SEL without the backup camera. It has the basic Sync CD player 4.3" sound system and it has the dual climate control ac controls. Can I add the factory backup camera and perhaps some other necessary modules to enable the backup camera? Or does the backup camera require the touch screen navigation system? I'm also interested in and willing to upgrade to the factory MySync 2 or 3 system if doable. I'm good with custom electronics and willing to do some pretty dirty work scrounging parts and putting the work in. Thanks.
