  1. Looking at vinyl wrapping my center radio/climate control panel. I believe the exact panel part is FT4T-18E245-BK, with a separate volume and tune knob. I'm wondering if there is a way to remove these knobs to make the wrapping process a little less cumbersome in that section? Do they simply just pop off or is there a process/procedure to remove them ""correctly"?
  2. When it comes to painting interior trim plastic what is the recommended type of paint to use? I'm thinking in regards to the vehicle being in extreme heat and cold throughout the year, so the obvious answer is the automotive rattle can. I'm mainly checking to make sure there isn't some other type or brand of paint that is the "go to" with much better results. Thanks!
  3. I've done my research and I'm getting ready to swap out the grille on my 2017 Edge with a honeycomb grille. I know I need to remove the bumper to get the best access to the clips holding the grill onto the bumper, but after looking around (doing some last second homework) I got a chance to eyeball the clips. They sure do look sturdy and secure. How exactly am I supposed to separate the clips without breaking the bumper clip or the grille clip? I should've taken a photo, but it looks like the clips push against each other and that you really have to bend the plastic bumper clip to undo them. Maybe to the the point of breaking. How best does someone separate these clips? Any tools that'd make it much easier? Thanks!
  4. I came across some small scuffs/scratches on the center console, on the lip below the sync screen. It’s a black interior so they stick out when the light hits right. Is there any safe way or product to cover or buff these scratches out? I saw some videos on the meguiars Plastix that seems promising. My concern is that this plastic is rigid, but seems like it’s a softer type of plastic. I don’t want to “over correct”, plus It’s easier to creep up on the desired finish and get it to blend. Any recommendations or tips appreciated! Also I uploaded a few clips of the scratches to give a better idea, and they’re hard to spot in the picture but the plastic texture makes them more pronounced to the naked eye.
