So I bought and installed the shock sensor. It does not want to come alive and work??? Do I need to have it programmed at the ford stealer?

Which module do i access in forscan for the alarm system? That's what I needed to hear. I will buy the part and install it myself with all the info you provided me. God bless you and thanks for everything!

Thanks for the installation info. I have 2 more questions. If I have the remote start and alarm system from the factory, should the shock sensor be part of the as well? I can't find the module that looks like the one in the kit. Do I have to use the software to enable features, or will the car automatically detect its presence?

Thanks for replying. I've been searching all over for info but can only find posts about ford trucks. I'm guessing that I have the perimeter plus installed because I have the remote start and alarm system from the factory. I'm guessing that it has the shock sensor as well. That's why I wanted to adjust the settings. Maybe the shock sensor part is not installed? I will check the area you mentioned to see if the module is in fact installed. Thanks for your help!

Would anyone know where the perimeter plus module is located on a 2016 edge? I want to adjust the shock sensor part. There is supposed to be a screw where I can adjust the sensitivity. Thanks for the help !
