Yikes! That water pump sounds like a doozy. I was planning on driving to Colorado (from Kansas) next week with it but may consider another vehicle.

So we just picked up a 2008 SE and it looks like the rear shock has been leaking, not surprising since it has 180k miles. Has anyone installed the Bilstein B6 shocks on their first gen? Also, what about the H&R lowering springs? They look pretty nice and I've had good experience with them on my old BMW. I did a search for Bilstein and H&R but couldn't find much; possibly the search terms?

We bought our Edge from a friend. It's pretty basic (FWD) but I kinda like it! Our friend took good care of it so all I really have to do is normal maintenance things.
