  1. 2010 Edge Limited 3.5L Mom's car. All started with a bad injector. (code P025 Injector circuit open - cylinder 5). Up until the injector went bad, the car was running OK and had no codes. I replaced all of the injectors with new Bosch injectors ordered from Rock Auto. (The old injectors looked horrible) I also replaced the spark plugs, and coils. I drove it around for a couple hours, and it ran great. (better than it did before the injector went bad). Gave the car back to my mom, and the next day the check engine light came back on. ("P0172 Bank 1 system too rich", and "P0175 Bank 2 system too rich") I replaced the MAF, the purge valve, and all 4 O2 sensors. Still getting the P0172 and P0175 codes returning after driving. Coolant temp sensor appears to be reading fine. Long term fuel trim is very negative (like -25 or something) meaning the computer is taking away fuel to try an lean out the mix. I bought a fuel pressure gauge, and I'm going to check that Tomorrow....but it would seem like if that was the issue, it would have had problems before I changed the injectors. (Unless it is possible the bad injectors were so clogged that it actually ran ok with the fuel pressure too high???) Also considering the possibility that I got a defective new injector. (Wouldn't I have to have at least TWO defective injectors to have BOTH banks running rich?) The one other thing I am wondering about is there was a lot of motor oil in the intake, so I am going to change the PCV valve, and maybe try a catch can, but I don't know if that would cause it to read as running rich. (And again... That had to be going on before I changed the injectors). Any thoughts, opinions, or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Where do I find the fuel pressure regulator on this car?? (Also... What should my static, and idling fuel pressure be?) The only thing I have found online mentions a "fuel TANK pressure sensor" Is that what regulates the pressure in the fuel injection system? Is the regulator on this car part of the fuel pump, itself? There is nothing under the hood. Just a quick connect fuel line, attached directly to the fuel rail.... Fuel rail has nothing other than the injectors. (no schrader fittings, or sensors). I am chasing a problem with both banks running rich, after replacing bad injectors.
  3. 2010 Edge Limited... Several electrical issues that may (or may not) be related. Sun roof stopped working a long time ago... Press the button. nothing happens. The interior lights down by your feet no longer work. (There is a button for them on the center console...If I remember correctly they changed colors?). Driver's side window controls work for everything EXCEPT the driver's side window...(all door locks, all the other windows, etc. can all be operated from the drivers side, but not the driver's side window itself). I have replaced the fuses (all the ones I know about, anyway). I replaced the window controls, and I replaced the window motor... Did not fix the problem. A/C blend door has frequent seizures. At first I thought it was some kind of relay going bad, and making a clicking racket trying to engage.... But I looked up in there, and it's the A/C blend door motor. Sometimes it makes a bunch of short bursts of clicks, and sometimes it makes a steady clicking sound that sounds like fuel injector ticking. Originally I thought (hoped) maybe there was one electrical issue, or short causing all of these problems. But I don't think that's the case. If anyone has any insight to any of these issues, it would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Hello from Florida! Found this forum while googling a few issues I am trying to resolve with my mother's 2010 Edge Limited. I'll be posting plenty of questions in the technical forums... LoL
