Does anyone know if there's a way to make the factory subwoofer box work with a mkx that didn't come with one? Can I just hook up my own amp to it? I'm sure all the mounting hardware would be the same the back panel it different. But can I make the enclosure work. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

As far as telling if you have a factory sub or not, just open the hatch in the back and look on the right side is there a cubby hole or a speaker grille there? My guess a hole so no you don't have a sub. The factory speakers are pretty bad, The infinity's are great but you don't even have to put that expensive in there, I put some mid priced pioneers in mine and they sound great. Far as the nav it will sound flat without a sub I added one to mine.

I have a 07 mkx does anyone know if the 20" wheels from an 08/09 will fit. I think there exactly the same just want to make sure before I buy them. thanks

Can anyone tell me how much rougher the ride will be going to a 20" wheel and tire from a 18"? I don't want to sacrafice any ride quality in my mkx. What's the biggest tire you have with a 20"?
