Hello Guys, I just got my 2011 Ford Edge (3.5L). Can you help me identify what is this cable between the battery and the fuse box? Would you know what’s this cable for? Thank you in advance.

I’m a newbie in this forum and I would like to ask for your help. My 2011 Ford Edge has been leaking Power Steering fluid on this part of the Steering Rack. (See attached photo). I already topped up almost two bottles of Mercon V. Would you recommend replacing the steering rack assembly? Or Can this be fixed by just replacing the Hose or rubber gaskets? Thank you in advance.
