Sorry to keep asking these questions, but I just bought my first Edge and I am already trying to upgrade some things. Do you know where the location is for the Factory Sirius Module?

In the cargo area , remove the spare tire cover and the left side cargo divider and u will see a module.

Pretty simple question. Where is the GPS antenna or Navigation antenna located? I am upgrading my factory 6 disc to factory naviagtion. I bought a Ford GPS antenna but don't know where they put them from the factory. I would like to put the antenna I bought in the designated factory location. I heard it is in or under the dash. I want to get it in the right spot because it is pretty important for signal purposes.

Just to be sure, I motored the side view mirror all the way to the left and right hoping to find wires for the defrost even though my edge doesn't have it. All I could see were two black wires on the inside which I assume are for the motor only. So it looks like those of us without defrost mirrors have no easy way to add them.

 

In general, what is the best place to order parts like this; dealer or online? Are there better places online ( in terms of price, availabllity, shipping, etc.) than fordparts.com? I will be ordering these mirrors, a new cabin filter, among other parts.

Before you go spending your money .This mirror is heated, look below the blind spot mirror and you will see a little square with lines that tells you have heated mirrors.Look at your mirror

No they won't work , you need the valve stem type.

From the 2007 up to 2010 the bumpers are the same.

I recently purchased a MINT Lincoln 2007 MKX. Unfortunately the previous owner didn't order the ashtray and cigarette lighter package for the vehicle. I'm no mechanic but can someone point me in the direction to get the replacement for my console and help installing it? I would appreciate any suggestions. Of course stop smoking is not an option.

They never came with built in ashtrays ,you could order a smokers package that included a cupholder ashtray and lighter like this

I meant how hard is it to take it off the car. That sounds like the hardest part.

There are 4 bolts to remove the headlamp , before you do that you have to take the fascia off.

It looks like the Pioneer nav system in my 2007 Edge SEL is already prepared for a rear view camera. At least the nav screen allows a camera to be switched ON or OFF.

 

So, I just need to install a camera somewhere in the rear, connect it to plus (reverse lights) and ground and pull a wire to the back of the nav system, right? Wrong?

 

Has someone done that and could shed some light on it?

You can disconnect the blis in behind the mirror, BUT it will set off a error code and show on your IP display

How does one remove the radio trim bezel? I want to replace a OEM radio with a navigation unit and not mess up the trim, where are the attach clips or screws? Thanks in advance.

NEED TO REPLACE THE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE ON THE RT REAR DOOR 2010 EDGE. LOOKS LIKE THE WINDOW, LATCH, ETC. ALL COME OUT TOGETHER ON THE PANEL UNDER THE INTERIOR TRIM PANEL, BUT NOT SURE. ANY HELP ANYONE!

There is a rubber plug on the door at the same height as the door handle(above the door latch) , pop the plug off and insert a Torx-20 and unscrew it 4-6 turns and check

to see if the small piecs of the door handle moves ( if you pull on the handle the cover should be loose and should come off)slide the handle back and will slide out.

its not the big piece that you step over/on when u get in the car. its about a 4" x 4" piece that pops into the forwardmost part of that piece.
