I have a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium with Sony audio. The AM and FM radio reception went away while we were listening to it. It plays music from my phone just fine but in radio mode, all I get is static. If I press the seek button, it just keeps scanning and never picks anything up. I tried a "soft reset" by holding the power button and right seek button simultaneously. That worked but the signal disappeared shortly after. I made sure the firmware was updated via wifi and I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and reconnected it. I was hoping someone could offer some helpful advice. I feel that my only hope for repair is at a Ford repair facility but I also feel that it is probably going to be very expensive. I feel some would suggest replacing the head unit with an aftermarket replacement but worry that it will be glitchy and won't work as well as this one did before it crapped out.
