Thanks for the information in this thread, to both @Haz & @Gnerffed. My 2019 edge SEL has codes c0095-19 & c0095-71 which seems to pinpoint the RDU actuator motor failure. As a precaution, I changed both the PTU & RDU gear oil but I 'm unable to fully clear the AWD codes, as suggested, to perform the drive cycle test...I have the Bluedriver scan tool which gives me the option to clear AWD module codes but both the gauge cluster light & trouble codes remain.
Question: @Gnerffed & @Haz..do I have to use Forscan to clear the AWD module codes?
I picked up a new actuator motor, part # K2GZ-4C210-C, from the local dealer for just $180ish and am prepared to swap it out but wondering if you can provide any additional insight before I dive in. Thanks to everyone!
p.s...while the car was on all four jackstands, after replacing the PTU/RDU fluids I put the car in gear to reverse/accelerate so I could hear if the RDU was crunching which threw all sorts of codes/dashlights! They all went away eventually!
