lately I’ve been having trouble starting my car, and it’s occurred with these steps:
1. Get in Car and dashboard screens come on
2. Try to start it, lights (engine, seatbelt, battery, etc) all come on.Thee Engine will click but not turn over. Screens/Radio will all come on.
3. Driver’s screen says “Full Accessory Power active” or “Press START to Brake”
4. repeat this step a couple more times and the engine eventually turns over.
I’ve taken it to a mechanic, and they said that there was a parasitic draw with the battery.
has anyone else ever had this issue? If so, what was the culprit?
it also has a habit of saying that, even with a recently filled tank that the car is on “E.”
