  1. Hi all, and thank you for chiming in. It looks like wet silicone and on the photo is a tree leaf that I can insert the stem into the gasket and then it leaves a hole in it. No, I am not cleaning the window with anything unusual, only car soap by hand or when I go to car wash. I have had other cars before, my family owns different brands and only the Edge is with melting seal. Today I was surprised with a quote from a dealership $1000 plus taxes because the entire 🤯window has to be replaced since the gasket is glued to the window. I asked for assistance from Ford and I was told NOOOOOO. My car has less than 37K miles and has 3y 10m and it is falling apart. The initial issue that I went to the dealership was faulty Gateway module and for it I was quoted $2849+ taxes. The window gasket is the secondary issue. I guess I hit the jackpot. NEVER again I will be buying Ford
  2. Hi, no only videos. I did some screenshots from the video hopefully they are clear enough.
  3. Hi, I am experiencing the same melting that you describe on the rubber around the rear window (trunk hatch). It is Edge 2022. I am very disappointed. ford.htm
  4. Hi guys, I saw a lot of knowledge here and wanted to try my luck. Ford Edge 2022, SEL, I drove the car and parked it for the night. On the next day the right side mirror, blind spot light was on, on the dashboard there are orange lights "Blind spot assist" and "cross traffic alert" Fault. The front windows do not roll down, the ac not working, the radio not working, the hatch is automatic and it is not opening. The dealer SAID that they had performed "pint point" and came to gateway module. Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
